SETH SHUMATE WINS THIRD STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Senior Seth Shumate finished off his Coffman Career with the 190lb OHSAA Div.I State Championship with a 7-4 score in the final match..  Seth finished his senior season with a 47-3 record.

Seth Shumate will go down as the most decorated wrestler in Dublin Coffman High School History.

Career record-(170 wins-5 defeats)-Only one loss in HS career to an Ohio opponent

Freshman-Div. I State Champion (50-1)

Soph.- 43-0  (State Tournament did not take place because of Covid)

Junior- Div. IState Champion (30-1)

Senior-Div. I State Champion (47-3)

Seth Shumate’s legacy has been stamped into the Ohio High School Wrestling History.  A four-time  Div. I OHSSA State Champion is an elite club that Seth most likely would have been a part of.  Seth Shumate will be recognized as one of the greatest high school wrestlers the state of Ohio has even seen.

Seth is committed to wrestle for The Ohio State University.
