ROCKS GYMNASTICS WINS 5TH CONSECUTIVE OCC-OHIO DIVISION TITLE

The Dublin Coffman High School gymnastics team swept its way to its fifth consecutive OCC-Ohio Division championship Feb. 13, winning all four events in the league meet on its home floor.

Bethany Hurt won the balance beam (9.125 points), floor exercise (9.075) and vault (8.85), was second on uneven bars (8.925) and took the all-around championship (35.975), as the Shamrocks scored 139.05 points to finish ahead of Olentangy (132.875), Upper Arlington (130.025), Hilliard Darby (122.9), Grove City (120.075) and Thomas Worthington (116.725).

Coffman’s Grace Powell won bars (9.0), finished second on floor (9.0) and was fourth on vault (8.1).

The Rocks will compete in the Sectional/District Competition Feb. 27 at Worthington Kilbourne High School.
