Omar Ayoub Wins Second State Title

Omar Ayoub (52-2) won the 138lbs OHSAA Div. I State Wrestling Championship.

The Two-Time State Champion dominated his opponents leading up to the final match.

1st round- won 19-9

2nd round -won 7-2

Semifinal -won 12-4

In the most exciting championship match on Sunday, Omar was trailing late in the third period.  Oyoub scored a take down and back points in the last seconds to secure the 9-6 victory.

The Coffman Junior has made a verbal commitment to wrestle at The University of Nebraska.
