Meet Recap
The girls team were district champions Saturday behind wins by Abby Steiner in the 100 and 200, Isabelle Angerman in the 300 hurdles, Megan Cameron in the pole vault and the 4×200 relay of Angerman, Steiner, Wambui Watene and Simone Richard-Roberts. Taking second place place were Ellie Weber in the 3200 run and the 4×200 relay or Watene, Angerman, Jen Schulze and Gabby McCloy. Wambui also qualified in the 300 hurdles and Isabelle in the 100 hurdles..
The boys were 4th, with Lucas Bons winning the 1600 and taking second in the 800. The 4×100 (Chris Mollica, Alex Barber, Jeslord Boateng, Ibn Williamson), 4×200 (Barber, Boateng, Williamson, Jameel Williamson), 4×400 (Barber, Williamson, Williamson, Bons), and 4×800 (Bons, Ryan Bosworth, Arnaldo Gonzalez-Calero, Alex Dediu) relays all advanced. Alex Dediu (1600), Derek Van Vlereh (high jump) and Caleb Holcomb (shot) also advanced.
Between the two teams there are 18 athletes advancing in 12 individual events and six relays.
