Coffman opened the season with a victory against 2017 D1 state runner up, Toledo Notre Dame Academy.

The Shamrocks led 31 of the 32 minutes. The Eagles grabbed a 22-21 with 1:50 left in the 2nd quarter, but that lasted just one possession, as Coffman scored the last 4 points of the half.

Jacy Sheldon had 29, Lilly Edwards 10.

Notre Dame cut Coffman’s 4th quarter lead from 12 to 6 with 4:00 remaining. Dana Axner then made an incredible save on the baseline to Riley Wagoner who then hit Kaitlyn Kopyar for a critical 3 pointer.

Coffman continues on the road next Wednesday at Olentangy.
