Field Hockey Sets Team Record

The Field Hockey team took home two victories over the weekend to reach 12 wins on the season. This is the highest win total in the 36-year history of Coffman Field Hockey! On Saturday the Rocks topped Stow-Munroe 4-0. Leading the way were goals from Claire Frient, Kate Straka, Sydney Dues, and Caroline Palazzo. Mara O’Sullivan recorded her 9th shutout of the season in goal.

Monday night Coffman faced Scioto and won easily 10-1. The Rocks received three goals from Claire Frient. Claire’s goals bumped her career goal total to 27. This topped the career goal record of 25, set by Shannon Aumiller in 2016. Other goals scored were by, Sydney Dues (2), Kate Straka, Mary Garcia, Izzy Fry, Laine McNeil, and Caroline Palazzo. Mary Garcia served up 4 assists for the Rocks!

The Rocks are currently 12-2 on the season and will host Bexley for JV/Var games on Thursday at 5:30.
