Emily Brown wins The Amphitrite Award. The award is presented annually by swimmeet.com to the top female high school swimmer in Ohio based on the Power Points 100 (https://www.swimmeet.com/ohio/powerpoints).
Emily
is a Junior at Dublin Coffman High School. She is a 6 time OHSAA D1 High School State Champion, winning both the 200 and 500 Freestyle the past 3 years. At the 2023 State Meet,
Emily
Broke the Pool, Meet and State record in the 200 Free. She currently holds Coffman High School Records in the 200 IM, 100 Back, 50 Free, 200 Free and 500 Free.
Emily
most recently was invited to attend the National Junior Select Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. She has also competed in many high level competitions including Junior Nationals (both in Irvine, Ca and Greensboro, NC) where her highest placing was 2nd in the 200 IM. She is currently ranked in the All-Time Top Swims in the 15/16 Age Group rankings in the 200 IM twice (#42 and #55) and the 400 IM (#101)
In addition to excelling in the pool,
Emily
is a 3 time Scholastic All American keeping a GPA of 3.9, as well as an All-American Qualifier in multiple events.
Emily
has verbally committed to the University of Tennessee.
