Game Recap

It was a tight game until Olentangy Liberty scored seven late runs for the 8-1 victory over Dublin Coffman on Wednesday at Dublin Coffman.

Mason Groves got the win for Olentangy Liberty . He allowed one run over eight innings. He struck out seven, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Cal Haefke was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 7 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.

The lone run of the game for Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity crossed the plate in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly by Alex Simpson.

Olentangy Liberty never trailed after scoring seven runs in the eighth on a two-run double by Connor Stewart, an error, a sacrifice fly by Groves, and an RBI single by Corbin Rapier.
