Dublin Scioto Captures Lead Early To Defeat Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-1 loss to Dublin Scioto on Friday. Dublin Scioto scored on a triple by Jared Nolan, a groundout by JR Marshall, and a single by Nick Hopper in the first inning. Dublin Scioto captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Jared Nolan drove in one run when he tripled. Weston Talentino earned the win for Dublin Scioto. He threw three innings, allowing one run, one hit, and striking out two. Marcus Ernst took the loss for Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity. He pitched three innings, giving up five runs, seven hits, striking out three, and walking one. Mike King went 1-for-1 at the plate to lead Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity in hits. Matt Magno led Dublin Scioto with two hits in two at bats.
