Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity Loses Lead Early In Defeat Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-2 loss to Central Crossing on Monday. Central Crossing scored on a double by J.J. Carr, a single by Ben Bohne, a single by Mo Bostard, and a single by Tyler Ronevich in the first inning. Central Crossing took an early lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning J.J. Carr drove in one run when he doubled. Jordan Pilkington earned the win for Central Crossing. He pitched seven innings, giving up two runs, seven hits, striking out two, and walking one. Cal Haefke took the loss for Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity. He threw seven innings, giving up four runs, eight hits, striking out two, and walking one. Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity had seven hits in the game. Marcus Ernst and Conor Sheridan each collected multiple hits for Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity. Jack Hamilton and Canyon Caldwell each drove in one run to lead Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity. Central Crossing was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Tyler Ronevich made the most plays with five.
