Watterson came out and was clicking, after taking an early 4-1 lead Coffman came back to get within 2 goals at 6-4, before Watterson went on a 5 goal run to close out the half The 2nd half saw Coffman’s defense and goaltending step up to change the momentum and the offense became more patient, with the score 13-12 Starsen Kinzer came up with a huge save, however Coffman could not contain the rebound and Watterson took a 14-12 lead, scoring with 1:15 left to cut the lead to 14-13- Watterson won the draw and was able to close out the came.
