Coffman advanced to their fifth consecutive District Championship, Wednesday with a 84-42 victory over Big Walnut, at Olentangy.
The Golden Eagles came out on fire and led at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Shamrocks then proceeded to outscore Big Walnut 25-5 in the second. This included a 12-3 spurt in the final 3 minutes.
Big Walnut came out of the locker room and scored 8 points in the first 2:30 of the third, but that would be it, as the Rocks extended to a 30 point advantage at the end of 3.
Abby Vollmer had 4 triples, finishing with 17. Jacy Sheldon, in early foul trouble, lead with 26. Coffman also got solid contributions from their bench, Paige Warren, Ali John and Riley Wagoner. Lilly Edwards notched double digit boards.
Coffman plays at 1PM Saturday against Westerville South.
