Game Recap

The Rocks came out firing early and scored in the first few minutes off a well designed long throw in. Matt Kiley threw a long ball into the box, Joey Rudolph flicked a ball with his head to Iori Nakajima who hit first time off the post. Luke Kiley was there to tap in the rebound and give the Rocks the early lead. Olentangy Orange responded almost immediately with a Grant Simon header at the back post off broken play from a corner kick. Ten minutes later Luke Kiley added another for the brace. Coffman struck again off a throw in with Andrew Pheiffer finding Nakajima who flicked to Kiley, who put the Rocks back on top. The game was a physical battle which saw Orange lose a player to red card later in the second half. Joey Rudolph scored a beautiful goal off a driven free kick from Jake Lister to put the game out of reach and the Rocks improved to 3-0 on the season.
