Runs At A Premium As Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity Defeats Upper Arlington Both teams were strong on the mound Monday, but Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity defeated Upper Arlington 3-1. Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity pitchers allowed just six hits to Upper Arlington. Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity took an early lead in the first inning. Marcus Ernst’s sac fly scored one run for Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity. Upper Arlington knotted the game up at one in the top of the third inning. Sammy Sass drove in one when he singled in the third inning. Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning. Trent Jester, Ethan Hetzel, and Werth all had one hit to lead Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity. Dublin Coffman Shamrocks Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Werth had the most chances in the field with seven. Sass led Upper Arlington with one run batted in. He went 1-for-4 on the day.
