Tim Thimmes (Coach)
Began coaching at Dublin Coffman in 1990
Coached football and basketball then in 1999 he started coaching girl’s golf, which was the start of a remarkable run of high finishes.
The 1999 team was 3rd in state with a 92-5 record, which was a school record for wins
The 2000 team won the state tournament, with a tournament record score of 630
The 2001 team was 3rd in the state tournament
The 2002 team was state runner-up
The 2003 team was 4th in the state tournament
In 2004 Thimmes coached the first girls golf team at Dublin Jerome high school while still teaching at Coffman. That first team was 2nd in the state. Then in 2005, the Jerome girls won the state tournament by 26 strokes.
