<p>Coffman Girls Basketball fell to Unioto by a score of 58-44 on Sunday, December 17th at the Girls Battle in the 614 Showcase. Leading the Rocks in scoring was Gwen Jenkins (13), Peyton Mather (10), and Avery Mather (8). The Rocks next game is home on Friday, December 22nd against Olentangy Orange, with the JV</p>

<p>Over the weekend, hockey had their home opener against Worthington Kilbourne, which they won 5-3 with the help of a hat trick from Matthew Bellamy. The next day, the team showed up and defeated Springboro 4-0 with an impressive shut out from goalie Alec O’Sullivan.</p>

<p>Led by Omar Ayoub&#8217;s runner-up finish and Ethan Birden&#8217;s 4th place finish, the Rocks finished in 15th place out of 100 plus teams at the prestigious Ironman Tournament.  Also winning matches for the Rocks was Blaze Van Gundy (3 wins), Charlie Mitchell (2 wins), Storm Beane (2 wins), Eli Esguerra (1win), and Isaiah Callahan (1</p>

<p>The Varsity Girls Basketball Team participated in the Thrill in the &#8216;Ville High School Showcase on Sunday, December 3rd at Westerville South against Mount Notre Dame. The Rocks fell to the Cougars by a score of 43-37. Coffman was led in scoring by Avery Mather with 13 points and Addison McGrath with 11 points.</p>

<p>Coffman Girls Basketball opened up OCC play on the road with a win at Hilliard Bradley, 39-36. Gwen Jenkins led the team in scoring with 20 points and Peyton Mather led in rebounding with 5 rebounds. <p>During break, after the boys finished eating a huge Thanksgiving dinner, hockey went back to work on Friday for the Thanksgiving Cup. On Friday they beat Avon 6-2 with a hat trick from Jackson Knittle, Saturday they battled St. Ignatius Blue ending in a 5-1 win. Later that day, they fought hard against Harbor Creek</p>
