<p>Last night, the Coffman athletic department introduced the next head coach of the Rocks football program. Pending board approval, Geron Stokes, previously of Minster High School, will be taking the reins of the Shamrocks program. <p>Junior Seth Shumate captured his second 195lbs. OHSAA state title.  Seth pinned his opponent in the first period to earn the 195 lbs. weight class championship.  Shumate won the same title his freshman season but did not have the opportunity to repeat as a sophomore since the event was canceled.  His Freshman year he completed</p>

<p>The Rocks finished tied for 4th place in The 2021 OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament with 97.5 points.  Coffman returns 7 out of the 9 state qualifiers next season. 113  Omar Ayoub (Fr.) <p>2021 OHSAA GYMNASTICS STATE TOURNAMENT Sophomore, Emily Yoshino finished second on Floor with  a 9.525 score. 5th place on Beam 9.4 14th place in the All-Around-36.35       9.525 &nbsp; GREAT JOB EMILY!</p>

<p>The Rocks defeated Reynoldsburg in the Regional Semi in a thriller by the score 0f 60-57.  The girls now advance to the Regional Final for the first time since 2017.  The Rocks were down 24-14 at the end of the first quarter and trailed 41-30 at the half.  Coffman stormed back to tie the game</p>

<p>Emily Yoshino tied for 1st place in the All-Around competition at the Central District Meet.  Emily&#8217;s score of 37.150 is a new Dublin Coffman HS record in the All-Around.  Emily also won the Beam with a score of 9.475.  She now advances to the State Tournament next weekend at Bradley HS. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The ROCKS earned their first OCC Championship since 2016. CONGRATS LADIES!</p>

<p>The ROCKS completed the Ohio Capital Conference Central Division with a 10-0 record.  This is the 6th Straight OCC Championship for the girls.  Congrats! &nbsp;</p>

<p>In its fifth appearance in the Division I state team tournament in six seasons, the Dublin Coffman wrestling team finished third Feb. 6 at Lakewood St. Edward. The event, which was sponsored by the Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association after the OHSAA had run it the past eight years, was won by the host Eagles when they beat Brecksville-Broadview</p>
